research The specialization program in Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Therapies has the goal to provide the student with an advanced and currentknowledge in this rapidly evolving area of biomedicine. The programme covers the fields of cell therapy, tissue engineering, gene therapy and immunotherapy.

In all cases, the most basic concepts of the field, the main technologies, the animal models used in research and their clinical applications will be explained. It will explain how to develop a drug for advanced therapies, with special emphasis on the legal and ethical aspects for the clinical application of these therapies subject .

This specialization program is newly created and builds on the experience of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra s experience in the preparation of advanced therapy drugs and its participation in clinical trials. It is also related to lines of research in the field of biotechnology, biomedical engineering, implantable systems, and nanomaterials that are carried out in partnership with the School of Engineering and the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Navarra.
