You must apply for a 90-day visa for programs of study at the Spanish consulate at home country . Upon arrival in Spain you must apply for the card de Identidad de Extranjero (TIE) at deadline within 30 days. The International Office offers the opportunity to present the documentation at the University itself as long as the student presents it before September 17. You will apply for a study visa at your Spanish consulate and you will be granted a 180-day visa, which will cover your entire stay and will not require any further formalities.
