The topic was on "Women in the patriarchal structure of the religious space" and was attended by specialists in State Ecclesiastical Law and Islamic programs of study , as well as a representative of the Evangelical Church in Spain. Professors Alva and Montero were able to learn about other academic environments where interest in the role of women in the religious sphere is a subject of study and knowledge dissemination. Activities such as this help to contextualize more broadly our academic research on Spanish Catholicism in general and specifically on the role that women have played in it.
