Francisca Pérez-Madrid, professor at the University of Navarra, has obtained, by means of the corresponding competition, the place of full professor of State Ecclesiastical Law at the University of Barcelona.

Francisca Pérez-Madrid was, during the 1998-99 academic year, professor at the Public University of Navarra, where she was in charge of the teaching of the same subject. Currently, she is an assistant professor of department of Canon Law and State Ecclesiastical Law (School of Law) at the University of Navarra, member of the association International of Canon Law, researcher of high school Martín de Azpilcueta, and collaborator of Portal of Law "Iustel" and of the Aranzadi Collection of Codes.

She also holds a PhD in Law and in Canon Law and received the Extraordinary award doctorate , has actively participated in national and international forums and has published several works on topics pertaining to both disciplines. In addition to other published articles, and her special knowledge on immigration and religious freedom, she is the author of the books Administrative Law sancionador en el ordenamiento canónico and La tutela penal del factor religioso en el Derecho español.
