More than 60 students, graduates and partners shared challenges, experiences and networking
More than 60 attendees participated in the first 'meeting School of Pharmacy' organized by the academic center in London. The event, held at the London headquarters of high school Cervantes, brought together students, graduates and collaborators of the School to share remains, experiences and networking.
The meeting consisted of a brief session on the School of Pharmacy and its future challenges given by Alberto Pérez Mediavilla, Associate Dean of Alumni. In it, in addition to offering data on the scientific productivity of the School, Mediavilla focused on the internationalization vocation of its students, "one of the central axes of the training of the future pharmacists and nutritionists of the School of Pharmacy". "For the board Directive of the School it is a priority to increase the issue of agreements of exchange of students with foreign universities of recognized prestige in the field of Pharmacy and Human Nutrition", he pointed out.
At present, the academic center has more than 55 agreements signed, 11 of them in England, thanks to which more than 60 students can carry out programs of study or internships abroad each year. "The continuous increase of requests to carry out the Degree of Pharmacy or Nutrition together with the International Diplomas means that we are making a great effort to establish new agreements," said Mediavilla. This first 'meeting School of Pharmacy' in London, he continued "allows us to check in situ, with great joy, the level of satisfaction of both our students who are now in London or other nearby cities, as well as the representatives of the universities, hospitals and pharmacies where they are working or studying".
School Also present at the meeting werePedro González Muniesa, coordinator of International Office, and Alfonso Vericat, director of development. The evening ended with a traditional snack and Spanish wine, much missed by more than one attendee.
