A new academic year has started and with it the joint activities of the School of Economics and the Foundation business-University to help the employability of students. The business PWC has carried out a selection process in which 40 students from the School of Economics participated.

Vega Moreno and Laura Mendoza, from PWC's HR department , also gave a session on searching for employment in 2.0 environments. In the talk they provided advice on which are the most effective tools for the search of a professional opportunity and explained the details about the work that is performed in each of the areas of their business and the different steps to follow in the selection process.

Leroy Merlin's Human Resources manager in Pamplona, Elena Unzue, also offered a session aimed at students in the first years of the School of Economics.

The class focused on informing and highlighting the aspects of the Resumes that are most important and that companies look at in more detail when selecting students for internship opportunities and employment. The goal is to raise awareness among first year students that they still have a large part of their degree program ahead of them to build a complete resume that will allow them to access good job opportunities.

Issues such as professional skills, internships and languages were, among others, some of the highlights of the session for a good curriculum.
