Esteban Puig y Tarrats, graduate of the University of Navarra, has become a full member of the National Academy of Ecclesiastical History of Peru.

During the ceremony, Bishop Puig received the corresponding medal and diploma from the hands of the president of the Academy, Armando Nieto. During the ceremony, the latter urged him to continue his work on the Church in Peru. Esteban Puig expressed his gratitude for the distinction and at the same time pledged to continue his research in this field.

Mons. Puig, graduate in Education and History, was vice Chancellor of the Catholic University Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo (USAT). He is also a member of the National Academy of History of Peru.
