The University of Navarra has signed a agreement of sponsorship with Laboral Kutxa by which the entity will contribute 10,000 euros for the third edition of the #LabmeCrazy! film festival, which in its last edition brought together more than two thousand participants from 92 countries. It will also collaborate with the lecture series "The Science Museum explains" with an amount of 2,000 euros.

The agreement was signed by Igor Errasti, Administrator of the academic center, and Pello Bayona, director of Companies of Navarra in LABORAL Kutxa. The Administrator thanked the generosity of the entity: "Thanks to collaborations like this subject, we can carry out our mission statement service to society. The University has a real commitment to the dissemination of science and care for the environment and, through activities like this one, organized by the Science Museum, we can bring science closer to the new generations". 

For his part, Pello Bayona assured that "LABORAL Kutxa, a financial institution committed to society and the environment in which it operates, and from its Corporate Social Responsibility, actively collaborates in the projects that are generated in Navarra, contributing to the economic and financial development of the business fabric, supporting entrepreneurs and society in general through cultural, sports and social collaborations".

#LabMeCrazy! Film Festival is an international festival that seeks to awaken passion for science, highlighting and rewarding some of the best science-related audiovisual productions. It is an initiative of the Science Museum of the University of Navarra, an institution that works in three basic lines in relation to science: research, Education and knowledge dissemination. The next edition will take place in February 2021.

"The Science Museum Explains" is a lecture series on current scientific topics given by professors and researchers from the University of Navarra. The goal of these sessions is to inform with rigor and clarity about some issues related to science that are very present in the media and, by extension, in public opinion.
