Open the deadline of registration for the summer course "Fashion Drawing Workshop".
The course will be held at the University on August 29 and 30 at schedule in the mornings.
The School of Architecture of the University of Navarra will host on August 29th and 30th a "Fashion Drawing Workshop".This is part of the XIX Summer Courses organized by the universities of Navarra and the Government of Navarra. The deadline of registration concludes when the capacity is completed (25 places).
The workshop, taught by María Villanueva Fernández -professor of Degree at design of the University of Navarra- and will have a duration of 8 hours. The established schedule is from 09:30 to 14 hours, on August 29 and 30, 2019. The course has as goal approach the student body to the field of fashion graphic expression. The workshop is organized in four sessions, which will consist of a theoretical class , in which concepts related to fashion drawing will be explained, such as proportion, scale, composition, stylization, etc.: and a internship, in which this knowledge will be applied.
The first two sessions are focused on line drawing and the student will learn how to analyze reality as well as to stylize it; in the other two, dedicated to sketch drawing, the student will learn how to express shapes and volumes, and to communicate the creative idea of the garment he/she is drawing. The goal is to provide the student with graphic tools that serve as a system of representation of reality and also as an analytical and cognitive tool.
