Juan Carlos Barcos, first Navarrese manager in the official team

Miguel de Andrés was a member of the Olympic football team. He was born in Ochagavía on 8 October 1957. He started playing for Club Injerto de Berbinzana, from there he moved to Pamplona, where he was signed by Athletic de Bilbao. He made his First Division debut in September 1979. He retired from football due to injuries in the 87-88 season.

Juan Carlos Barcos, president of the Navarra Judo Federation attended the games as a referee. From these Games onwards, Juan Carlos Barcos will be present at all the Games held until Rio 2016.
