You will develop yourlinguistic skill and literary creativity.
The Degree in language and Spanish Literature will train you in the most relevant linguistic culture of each period and in the most influential works and authors of literature. With the electives you will be able to specialize your training and delve into the areas you find most exciting.
Let no one interpret for you. To understand language you will need literature, and to study and generate literature you will need language. Your training as a linguist will allow you to understand the configuration of literature in order to analyze and create. By studying literary works you will materialize all the linguistic knowledge acquired from the hand of the most brilliant authors in history. You will be able to share the thoughts of many influential artists and thinkers.

Read, think, write, edit, publish... Teachers and writers will guide you in the literary and creative writing field through each phase of the creative process.
Academic and cultural stays
Two trips integrated in the Study program
You will be able to complement and broaden the knowledge of Spanish literature and language through two stays, a national one in 2nd grade and an international one in 4th grade, with your classmates and teachers.

Active and applied methodologies
You will work on projects, make critiques, analysis and comparative programs of study , edit and correct texts, go into the publishing process, perform exercises in linguistics and phonetics, read and experience art through theater, declamation and literary recreation. Small groups facilitate the student-teacher relationship and encourage dynamism and integrated learning at classroom.

In the second and third years, you will do integrated internships in subjects that will allow you to enter contact with the working world of linguistics and literature.
