RESILIENCE AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT SUSTAINABLE IMPROVEMENT MENTOR
group and Crisis Management group focuses on the development more resilient and sustainable urban environments. Its main projects have centered on cities’ capacities to cope with crises—both anticipated and unanticipated—arising from climate change, the interdependence of critical infrastructure, social dynamics, and cyberattacks. To this end, the group employs quantitative techniques from artificial intelligence and research , along with qualitative techniques from systems thinking and participatory methods. In recent years, participation in both European and local projects has led the research primarily on issues of climate change and social resilience.
The Sustainable group develops models and tools that help companies contribute to development by promoting the gradual integration of circularity throughout the model , with a focus on triple impact: economic, environmental, and social. These models and tools are developed at both the strategic and operational levels (the latter following a data Lean philosophy, Lean-Six Sigma).
TheMentor group Mentor Methodologies in Education and New Technologies: Orientation and Research) focuses its research the analysis, development application of new technologies and methodologies to improve the learning process. One of the most impactful technologies is the use of artificial intelligence in learning. This stems from Tecnun’s interest in researching the teaching process and the benefits that technological innovation can bring to that process. Its milestones include the development computer tools to support the learning process and various funded projects for the creation and implementation of tools and materials for innovation in learning.
