Marta Torregrosa is Associate Professor at School of speech at the University of Navarra. Her research currently focuses on the field of fashion theory. Specifically on the influence that speech and new media have on fashion as a system of construction and representation of culture.
She co-directs the International Programme in Fashion speech at School speech . She is also Academic Director of the Advanced Programme in Fashion Business Management at ISEM Fashion Business School. She has previously held the positions of Deputy Director of Master's Degree Audiovisual Scriptwriting, Coordinator of Degree of speech Audiovisual and Deputy Director of department of Culture and speech Audiovisual at School of speech.
She has published, among other works, the following books: The Fashion Consumer (2018), Imagining Reality. Ensayos sobre la representación de la realidad en los nuevos medios (2010) and Philosophy y vida de Eugenio d¿Ors. Etapa catalana: 1881-1920 (2003); and edited and coordinated with other researchers: Fashion on the move: Rethinking design (2016), Digital development in the fashion industry: communication, culture and business (2014), Construir la cultura: tendencias, design y consumo (2011), Oriente y Occidente: la moda, síntesis de culturas (2009). He has published in journals such as Studies in Documentary Film, Zer, Sphera Publica, Trípodos, area Abierta or Palabra core topic, and in the publishing houses Routledge, Springer, Eunsa, speech Social, Fordham University Press, Chair, Reichenberger, Herder or the Royal Academy of History.

She has been visiting professor at the University of Valladolid and at the Universidad del Istmo in Guatemala.
