Have you ever wondered what they read in India, what is their literary culture, what influence is hidden in their more than 5 millennia of history? We will try to give an answer through these students' analysis of three contemporary Indian works.
Its independence from the United Kingdom brought about a cultural, social and political revolution. Freedom was reflected in all areas, including literature, where narrative, the novel and the short story were the main literary genres.
Midnight's Children, The White Tiger y Twelve Bengali poets are the three works you are going to listen to in this literary podcast. The magical realism reminiscent of the works of Gabriel García Márquez, the social criticism characteristic of Dickens' literature and the free verse poetry are some of the characteristics that stand out in their analysis.
