Chair IDEA for New Longevities
Call for Final Degree and Master's Degree Projects Awards
The central goal of the Chair IDEA of New Longevities is to encourage research that delves into the human dimensions of care and the impact of social and cultural changes on the lives of the elderly, in order to promote economically and socially sustainable business models, as well as good jobs in the sector, that are in line with the new forms of care demanded by society.
In this framework, the second edition of the awards for the End of Degree ( work ) and End of Master's Degree ( work ) are presented to the best works that reflect on the budgets of a culture of care; analyze the evolution of the needs of the elderly, according to the varied typology of family situations, health conditions, etc. in which they find themselves; analyze the partner repercussions of human aging, or contribute to an economic and social model that allows a solution to the growing need for qualified professionals in the care sector.
TARGET
Eligible for these awards are the authors of TFG and TFM carried out at the 2024-2025 in any Spanish university and in any area of knowledge. We accept original research, not previously awarded in other competitions, which have studied or analyzed the following topics aspects related to personal, socio-sanitary, cultural and social needs. that open up in this new stage of life, as a result of greater longevity of the population. Also of interest are those works that address the perspective of the needs of the caregiver and how to propose alternatives for an economically and socially sustainable care system.
The works may not have been previously awarded prizes, nor may they have been submitted for other prizes.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CALL FOR PROPOSALS
AWARDS
- An award of 600 € for the TFM category.
- An award of 400 € for the TFG category.
REGISTRATION AND DOCUMENTATION
The papers will be sent, in Word or PDF format, through the form designed for this purpose.
- Certification or document accrediting the grade obtained from the TFG or TFM
- report of the tutor.
The author's name should appear only on the form. Papers must be submitted in blind version in order to be evaluated anonymously. The author's name and any other identifying information will be removed from the work.
DEADLINE
Papers must be submitted through the Chair s form by September 30, 2025.
JURY
The Jury will be composed of members of the Chair IDEA of New Longevities of the University of Navarra. Depending on the topic of the TFG or TFM, it will be extended to other professors of the University.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
The jury will apply the following evaluation criteria:
- Interest, coherence and applicability of the work (30%).
- Creativity, originality and innovation in the approach of the work and in the conclusions (30%).
- Methodological and conceptual rigor (30%).
- presentation, quality of the documents and relevance of the bibliographic sources (10%).
FAILURE
The jury's decision will be communicated to the winners by e-mail during the month of November 2025.

Participation in this call for entries implies knowledge, understanding and acceptance of these instructions. The intellectual property of the awarded works and the material property of the documents that integrate them, will correspond to the author of the same.
Participants authorize the Chair IDEA of New Longevities to publish or knowledge dissemination their work publicly, with express accredited specialization of their authorship.
In compliance with the provisions of Law 15/1999, of December 13, 1999, on the Protection of staff data , the personal data obtained through the presentation of works in this call will be incorporated into the automated files of the University of Navarra, declared before the Spanish Agency for data Protection. These data will be used for the fulfillment of the purposes for which their application responds and in agreement with the provisions of the LOPD.
