Learning: types and levels
The teacher must have a clear idea of the main learning that his or her students should achieve at subject, not only in the intellectual sphere, but also in the social, affective and emotional, moral, aesthetic and so on.
It will do so through:
- The programme of the subject
- The list of competences and learning objectives
The following aspects should be taken into account:
The student is the protagonist of his or her learning.
The teacher and the institution are responsible for providing the appropriate means for the student to learn.
The teacher should assess students on the objectives of subject.
Types of learning: intellectual knowledge, attitudes and skills.
Bloom's Taxonomy: Remember, understand, apply, analyse, evaluate, create.
The educational stage is a time of training staff and intellectual.
What learning is encouraged at subject and at degree program or stage? Why these and why us?
