We are pleased to announce the IV International Conference on Sociocultural Theory and L2 Learning, which will take place both online and at the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain), from June 27-29, 2022.
We welcome proposals for presentations on sociocultural approaches to research on second and foreign language learning, heritage language learning, multilingualism, and language and culture.
The format of SCT-L2 2022 will follow past practice of SCT-L2 Learning Working Group: presentations of research in progress that are anchored in the seminal works of L.S. Vygotsky and those who work in this theoretical framework. Presentations will be followed by substantive discussion and feedback. Participants will also be able to receive research suggestions and recommendations by those involved in investigating the principled application of sociocultural theory to applied linguistic research, and in particular, second and foreign language learning and teaching.
We hope to see you in June!
