The sepulchral altar is surmounted by a centred crown in which a topoline is carved while a bread form is added. The inscription was made by M. Gavius Iuvenis in report of father M. Gavius Amphion Mus, freedman of framework Gavio Massimo, noted for having held the prefecture of the praetorium for twenty consecutive years, from 138-139.
