Martín de Azpilcueta Secondary School

The high school Martín de Azpilcueta is a scientific research center dependent on the School of Canon Lawof the University of Navarra, which in connection with the activity of the said School assumes the tasks related to the promotion of the research and the progress of canonical science, the canonical History of Law , Ecclesiastical Law and the scientific study of the legal and sociological aspect of the relations between the Church and civil society. It was established by Decree of the Chancellor of the University of Navarra on 28 March 1967.

It is composed and directed by professors from School at Canon Law and also has collaborators from other universities. It promotes scientific meetings, coordinates the work of research and is in charge of the different publications of the School.

The high school is based at the Main Library Building, which is located at the campus of the University of Navarra. The high school is governed by its own Organic Regulations, of the same date as the Decree of erection.
