MATERIALS UNIT
RESPONSIBLE: Marina Vidaurre. Elena Aparicio.
This unit is located at teaching and research on materials. It has three classrooms on materials in the field of construction where both traditional and new construction products and systems are shown.
At present, the classrooms are being equipped with materials specific to the mentions of design, especially fabrics for fashion and printing media.
TEST UNIT
RESPONSIBLE: Borja Iraola. Maider Isturiz.
The mechanical part facilitates the performance of a wide variety of standardized mechanical tests for the characterization of construction materials, quality control and structural joint investigations.
This unit also supports research on monitoring, home automation, robotics and industrialization of construction.
The unit supports the school's teaching through practical sessions with students in which they learn the behavior of different structural materials (concrete, steel, wood, polymers...) by performing destructive tests.

The materials and testing section is equipped with numerous measuring and testing equipment, among which are:
