What is it?
The laboratory of the School of Architecture (archLAB) includes in its facilities the new laboratory digital fabrication (FabLab) and the renewed laboratory of Building (CTE General Register: NAV-L-11).
The laboratory of Building began its activities in 1966 under the direction of Mr. Javier Lahuerta, the result of a partnership agreement between the former Ministry of Housing and the University of Navarra, being one of the first four that were put into operation in Spain.
The archLAB is in continuous evolution since its foundation and currently provides services both internally at teaching and research, as well as externally to professionals, companies and administrations. The archLAB has materials testing equipment, digital fabrication machinery and three materials classrooms where more than 10,000 samples of materials, products and construction systems are catalogued and archived.
The archLAB currently includes in its facilities the new digital fabrication laboratory (FabLab) and the renewed laboratory of Building (CTE General Register: NAV-L-11). The services provided by archLAB are aimed at both professionals and the world educational.
