We promote a positive mindset in the care of patients with advanced and irreversible disease.
The ATLANTES Global Observatory of Palliative Care aims to promote in society and in medicine a positive mindset regarding the care of patients with advanced and irreversible illness.
Through its research and dissemination work, it conveys to the various social agents a vision based on the dignity of the person and professional care. It promotes accompaniment and respect for the natural course of the disease and the integral care of the person, including the emotional and spiritual dimension.
From 2022, Atlantes Global Observatory of Palliative Care is partner centre of the WHO Collaborating Centre for the Global Monitoring of Palliative Care Development.
