What characteristics
should it have?

During the degree program you will need a laptop computer to develop your projects. It is recommended that it complies with the following requirements:

/Processor: minimum 4 cores (8 cores recommended).
/16Gb RAM minimum. Advisable 32 Gb of RAM.
/ SSD hard disk.
/card dedicated graphics.
/Integrated webcam.

Which operating system
is advisable?

The brand of a computer is not the most important thing, but the operating system it uses.

/Both Windows and MacOS comply with the required requirements .

Which programs
should I install?

Some programs have special licensing and pricing for students.
Adobe Creative Cloud suite programs such as Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator are essential on Degree at design. We encourage you to experiment with them this summer.
In addition, you will use other tools such as AutoCAD.

Do I need external devices?

The biggest problem with laptops is the ergonomics of their use and their effects on health.
Incorrect use of the computer can lead to back pain, contractures and increased stress.
The correct posture of use requires certain external devices that we recommend.
