research and sustainable solutions for global health: uniting science, humanity and environment
The University of Navarra and the Maria Francisca de Roviralta Foundation have created the Chair Maria Francisca de Roviralta Foundation for Molecular Parasitology, Leishmaniasis and One Health to promote research in molecular parasitology, addressing the challenges of leishmaniasis (a disease endemic in 98 countries including Spain and the Mediterranean area, with more than 350 million people at risk) and other global health problems, with a approach One Health to contribute to optimal health for people, animals and our planet.
