CROSS-CUTTING TRAINING ACTIVITIES 

  *The new names of these activities, effective starting in the 2026–2027 academic year, are shown in italics.  

MANDATORY BASIS

The doctoral program includes four mandatory cross-cutting activities:

  • research : multidisciplinarity, Ethics, and Society.

  • Intellectual and Industrial Property and Entrepreneurship / management research: knowledge Protection, Technology Transfer, and Scientific Entrepreneurship 

  • Scientific Documentation and Communication / Scientific Information and Communicationmanagement  

  • exhibition project research

OPTIONAL

On the other hand, the doctoral program establishes five optional transversal activities , which must be chosen from the following two blocks, being mandatory to perform at least two activities corresponding to Block A:

Due to the issue of Departments involved in the doctoral program and the nature multidisciplinary of the same, it is established that the Departments will be the ones who, depending on the needs of their students of doctorate, plan the issue and contents of the methodological training activities that will be offered annually to their students.
