All the activity we perform online leaves a trail of data (digital footprint) that is monitored to create user profiles and sell them to advertisers. The intelligence of data makes it possible to reconstruct an identity from the fingerprint, and even predict the behavior of a Username, while artificial intelligence paves the way for the configuration of digital twins: avatars that can behave as if they were a person. We can no longer separate our identity from the data we are seeding, and soon we will not be able to discern the identity of our online interlocutors either.
