Application for Legal Deposit

To apply for a issue of Legal Deposit, you must fill in the following form.

As soon as the process is completed, we will send you an e-mail to your e-mail address with the assigned Legal Deposit issue , as well as with the issue number of copies required for deposit, which you should send by internal mail to Publications Service ( Library Services Central Building) always before the distribution or sale of the publication.

The Publications Service will be in charge of sending the corresponding copies to the Legal Deposit of the Government of Navarra always before the distribution or sale of the publication.

In addition, as required by the new Law 8/2022, of May 4, amending Law 23/2011, of July 29, 2011, on Legal Depositentrance in force on January 2, 2023, in the case of books and journals not belonging to Publications Service -which already manages its own-, the digital file must also be sent by e-mail to spublicaciones@unav.es prior to printing.

In case the applicant has pending the submission of copies or files of previous applications outside the established term, it must deliver them before apply for a new issue of Legal Deposit.


It constitutes an infractionwith the corresponding sanctionThe failure to establish the D.L. of a publication within the deadlines and issue of regulatory copies, as well as the distribution of a publication subject to D.L. that lacks the corresponding issue (the typology of infringements and the amount of the penalties can be consulted in the Law 23/2011, of July 29, 2011, on Legal DepositArts. 18-20
