Simulation Centre

The current Simulation Centre of the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra started its activity in the academic year 2009/2010. It is part of the Clinical training Unit and since its inception, its fundamental mission statement is to provide Degree/licentiate degree and postgraduate students with a state-of-the-art standardised training internship in a controlled and safe environment and to improve the medical training .

In addition, it provides training in unusual clinical situations, allows the performance of procedures in scenarios that recreate critical situations and reinforces teamwork, self-directed learning and self-criticism.

The Simulation Centre organises and collaborates in the teaching postgraduate programme with the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and offers courses and workshops to other Schools for the acquisition of specific competences.
