The Degree in Audiovisual Communication can be fill in with a degree scroll of its own: the Performing Arts Production Program, carried out in partnership with the University of Navarra Museum, is a program that prepares students for the leadership and management of shows of all subject: dance, musicals, theater... With the help of industry professionals you will see firsthand both the artistic and business side of the performing arts and learn to apply concepts related to audiovisuals such as lighting, sound, props, direction of actors or staging to live shows.
What will you learn?
In the 1st year with the subject Introduction to the Performing Arts you will have a first contact with the different performing arts categories with the most relevant artists and professionals of the sector.
In 2nd year you will study Stage Management to acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge on how to structure, plan and carry out a stage production or how to manage a stage space.
During the 3rd year, the subject scenicdesign brings you closer to scenic elements such as costumes, construction, props, lighting and visual projections.
In 4th grade, the following is planned subject Sales and Promotion of the Performing Artswhich explores in greater detail the business side of the performing arts, the various business models and the possibilities of commercial exploitation.

University of Navarra Museum

The performing arts production program benefits from the activities carried out in partnership with the Museo Universidad de Navarra. Located on the University's campus , the Museum houses an auditorium with an annual performing arts program. It is its mission statement to promote creation and research, bringing together under one roof all artistic disciplines in coexistence and dialogue with the pieces in the collection, making the Museum a meeting place for contemporary art.
