For some years now, the University of Navarra has set as one of its main objectives the international outreach, understood as an opening to the world from the institution itself, its staff and academic staff and, of course, that of its students.
We want people who know different languages and cultures, who understand the world they live in, who can adapt to multiple contexts and who will come to understand their potential as leaders in a global world. To this end, School of Humanities and Social Sciences has developed an International Programme for all its single and double Degrees . In order to achieve this Proprietary Degree, students take between 80 and 120 ECST in English over the course of their degree. The programme includes:

Compulsory and optional subjects in English to improve knowledge and develop English vocabulary discipline.

One mandatory and one optional exchange.

Take the subject International Seminars each year until fill in four (International Seminars I, II, III and IV). This subject is taken by participating in 8 seminars given by international speakers . The goal is to develop a global and interdisciplinary perspective.

Opportunity to carry out professional internships or research stays in another country.

Completion and defence of the Final Project Degree in English.
The criteria for accreditation of the level of English, which must be presented at the time of formalising enrollment are as follows:

certificate of the Fist Certificate in English (Cambridge ESOL Exams)

TOEFL with the following criteria: IBT (Internet-based Total): 45-60 / CBT: 173-210 / PBT: 500-547

Level B2 of the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas (1st and 2nd course of advanced level or certificate of advanced level -corresponding to 1st and 2nd of the old plan).

IELTS 5.0-5.5-6.0

Students who have completed the last two years of their studies in an high school diploma in an International high school whose language of teaching has been English.

Students who have followed the high school diploma International: Language A2, grade of 5 or above in English, Standard Level
At the end of the second year of the degree course, certify a level of English equivalent to C1 is required.
