Duncan Ross has been involved in the extraction of data since the mid-1990s. As director of THE's data , he oversees a team that generates university rankings and related data products. Previously, he led Teradata's data science team in Europe and Asia, where he was manager of development for analytics solutions in a variety of industries, including warranty and causation analysis in manufacturing and social network analysis in telecommunications.
Duncan was the creator of THE Impact Rankings, the world's largest global ranking that focuses on how universities can address the United Nations Sustainable development Goals. With over 1,500 universities participating, it has become the leading source for data on sustainability in higher education teaching .
