Rolando Roncancio Rachid is a lawyer from the Universidad de La Sabana, Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Business School of the University, INALDE Business School, Master and PhD in Government and Culture of Organisations from the University of Navarra (Spain). There he obtained the maximum grade in his doctoral thesis and, additionally, he was awarded the extraordinary award for the best thesis of the year, in his area of knowledge.

He started teaching at INALDE Business School in the areas of Strategy and Corporate Governance. His topics of research and publications are: sustainability, corporate reputation and strategy execution.

Combining his work as a professor, Dr. Roncancio Rachid has served in management positions at La Sabana, such as: Academic Secretary of the School of Law, University Secretary of INALDE and University Secretary of the University. He is currently President of La Sabana University, previously as Vice President of Academic Processes and Social Projection, he was manager in charge of the quality management of the academic programmes: the creation of new programmes, the social projection of the University, the projection of the corporate culture, inter-institutional and international relations, and the reputation strategy.
