This project started in 2016 with the University of Navarra Trading Club, a club that aimed to bring together all lovers of the stock market and finance, and especially the world of trading. Thanks to the interaction with the members of the club as well as the different debates, conferences and colloquiums we had with professionals in the sector, it was decided to make a transformation. Thus UNAVIS (UNAV Investment Society) was born, leaving aside the concept of a club to become a society, where all members join their knowledge with the goal to learn, contribute, share ideas, doubts or any interest related to the world of investment.
But undoubtedly, the most profound change was in the vision that society brings to the financial markets. Beyond promulgating a short-term perspective where great returns are obtained in short periods of time, it is about spreading the idea, so advocated by the best investors in the world, that great returns come from those decisions taken with conscience and patience, over the long term.
In 2023, UNAVIS acquired a new name: UNAV Finance Society, preserving the spirit of the Investment Society, but adapting to the new needs that its members demand and transforming its vision and way of learning according to the knowledge that is acquired over time. Finance Society is the club that supports all students who want to take a step towards a degree program in finance and find a community with the same passion as them.
