The University of Navarra's Nutrition update conference is a meeting for health professionals that provides a vision based on the latest research including practical aspects related to nutrition and food that can be applied to the professional internship of dietitians, pharmacists and other health professionals.
These conference, which are held annually in Pamplona, are now in their 20th edition, and have as their degree scroll Nutrition and skin: scientific evidence and internship application.
The workshop will be held in two formats: online and in person in purpose to facilitate attendance .
The skin is a reflection of the general state of health, and diet plays an essential role in maintaining its balance, its appearance and its ability to defend itself against external aggressions. Numerous programs of study show how nutrients, gut microbiota and dietary patterns significantly influence skin function, inflammatory processes, aging and response to various dermatological pathologies.
This update workshop offers a complete and current view on the relationship between nutrition and skin, integrating scientific evidence with its internship application. It will address the physiological mechanisms that support this connection, the role of certain nutrients and bioactive compounds in the maintenance of skin health, as well as the most relevant dietary and supplementation strategies to promote healthy skin and prevent or improve its possible alterations.
An opportunity to delve into a field of growing scientific interest and to understand how nutrition can become acore topic tool to take care of skin health from the inside.

We will apply for the accreditation of the workshop to the Continuous training Commission of the Health Professions of Navarra for dieticians-nutritionists and for pharmacists.

The submission of the certificate of attendance in the modality on line, requires the connection of the registered person during the whole retransmission of the workshop. The development of the conference can only be accessed live.
The accreditation (only applicable in Spain) requires a university degree in Pharmacy and/or Human Nutrition and Dietetics ( degree program ).
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations can be made by sending an e-mail to administrative assistant of the workshop (jorn.nutricion@unav.es):
Before February 10. Refund of 50% of the amount of the registration.
After February 10. No refund is contemplated at registration.
