PRESENTATION OF THE WORKSHOP
A meeting for professionals
The conference of update in Nutrition of the University of Navarra aims to be a meeting for professionals and to provide a vision based on the latest research and with practical aspects related to nutrition and food that can be applied in the professional internship of the Dietitian-Nutritionist and other health professionals.
These conference have been held annually in Pamplona since 2007. This year, the XVIII edition of the conference, has as degree scroll Digestive health and nutritional well-being.
The workshop will be developed in two formats: online and in person with the purpose to facilitate the attendance to it.
This edition focuses on digestive health and nutritional wellness, focusing on highly topical issues, including the intestinal microbiota and the role of probiotics in digestive pathologies. In addition, the scientific instructions that support the efficacy and safety of phytotherapic products in different digestive conditions will be presented. All of this will go hand in hand with a healthy and active lifestyle, for which experts will give advice on nutrition, cooking skills and exercise. To achieve this nutritional wellness and increase the quality of life, the conference will end by explaining the bidirectional communication between the intestine and the brain, highlighting how stress and anxiety can contribute to development and aggravation of digestive diseases, for which strategies for the care of mental health will be presented.
ACCREDITATION
As in previous editions, a request has been made for the accreditation to the Commission of training Continuous of the health professions of Navarra for graduates in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and for graduates in Pharmacy. It is reminded that "the credits of this educational activity are not applicable to professionals participating in the same and who are training as specialists in Health Sciences".

The submission of the certificate of attendance in the modality on line, requires the connection of the registered person during all the retransmission of the workshop. To do so, he/she will have to indicate his/her name and two surnames when logging in.
The accreditation (only applicable in Spain) requires a university degree in Pharmacy and/or Human Nutrition and Dietetics ( degree program ).
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations can be made by sending an e-mail to administrative assistant of the workshop (jorn.nutricion@unav.es):
Before February 25. Refund of 50% of the amount of the registration.
After February 25. No refund is contemplated at registration.
