A meeting for professionals

These conference have been held annually in Pamplona since 2007. This year, the XIX edition of the conference, has as degree scroll Nutrition in chronic diseases: a preventive and therapeutic approach .
The workshop will be developed in two formats: online and in person with the purpose to facilitate the attendance to it.
This edition focuses on the crucial role of nutrition in the prevention and management of chronic diseases. Pathologies such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and cancer represent great public health challenges, but also invaluable opportunities to intervene through nutrition and lifestyle habits. It will address how nutrition, from a preventive and therapeutic approach , can be an important tool to reduce risks and improve quality of life. Through an inaugural lecture focused mainly on cardiovascular health and two round tables dedicated to diabetes and cancer, the most recent scientific knowledge will be combined with an applied vision where experts will contribute their experience and provide strategies to help health professionals in their healthcare work.
