The Center for Nutrition Research is a basic-applied research body of the University of Navarra, attached to the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition and endowed with the appropriate autonomy for the fulfilment of its aims.

Its aim is scientific research, oriented to the achievement of products and services, as well as the training of researchers in the area of Nutrition and for this purpose:

• It will conduct research of excellence on issues related to Nutrition and Health and specifically to obesity problems.

• It will transfer research results and the know-how of the centre's researchersto industry, especially the food and pharmaceutical industries, in order to improve their productivity and support the development development of new food products.

• It will offer the industry services related to the areas of nutrition, dietetics and food in general.
