Research
laboratory of Medical Engineering
The School of Medicine of the University of Navarra has a pioneering laboratory of Medical Engineering. Created in 2015, its goal is to provide practical teaching solutions and add to the close partnership that exists between the different Departments of the School, services of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and the laboratories of the research center Applied Medicine (CIMA).

The laboratory Medical Engineering arises from a vital need: to achieve the perfect tandem between doctors and biomedical engineers.
The laboratory has three lines of work: additive manufacturing, medical simulator sound and medical simulator creation.
The engineers are working on joint projects with Clínica Universidad de Navarra to solve situations for which there is currently no answer.
In addition to doing research to generate knowledge and publish it, students of the School of Medicine can carry out the work End of Degree Degree at laboratory.

It aims to provide an innovative approach to help the professor to better appreciate and understand their role, and aims to be a tool that promotes the speech and reflexion of teachers who are involved, or will be involved, in this exciting world of practical learning with simulators, both in the field of training in medicine and in nursing.
