DEAR
STUDENT,
Welcome to the Master's Degree in Real Estate Strategy and Business / Master in Real Estate!
As director of the School, I would like to convey to you that you have certainly made the best possible choice for your postgraduate formation. When deciding on completing this formation, three aspects are usually taken into account:
1. Quality formation
2. Prestige of the institution
3. Proximity to the professional world
We hope to achieve the highest expectations in these three aspects. From the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, we have designed five formative programs with a solid academic base taught by professors from the School, the IESE Business School and top national and international professionals. We hope that, along with the internships you will be completing, you will get the best possible exposure to the professional world.
All that we offer you as a School will have a great projection if we count on your total and absolute dedication. I encourage you, in these months ahead of us, to work and do your best, not only in the classes, workshops and group work, but also in the development of your professional profile.
Reiterating my welcome and congratulating you on your choice, I send you my warmest regards.
Carlos Naya Villaverde
Director of the School of Architecture
ACCOUNTING
PREVIOUS STUDY
The subject of Basic Accounting and Control of Managementcorresponding to the subject of Finance within the Business Module of the Master's Degree, will begin on September 29th.
It is very convenient to carry out a prior study in order to have assimilated a series of basic concepts.
A must-have:
To access the digital version of the book, you must have your @alumni.unav.es account activated. To do so, see the "Communication Tools" section..
"Financial Management and Accounting".
It is essential to previously study (with paper and pencil) chapters I to XXII (both included and except chapter XIX) of the book "Dirección y Contabilidad Financiera" by Fernando Pereira and M.ª Jesús Grandes, from publishing house EUNSA.
This book is a Business School guide , so it does not contain the huge doses of accounting that an accountant would need, but is aimed at those professionals who, without being accountants or having a previous training in Accounting, need to live with it and therefore understand it.
E-mail address
Communication between professors/students will be established through the University of Navarra's own e-mail. To access your e-mail, you can access the collaborative tools website.
