Since its creation, the Chair has been running courses, seminars and workshops related to timber construction.

He began teaching the subject of Wood Construction, which has now changed its format to an intensive seminar with a visiting professor. He collaborates in the teaching of aspects related to wood in the Degrees in programs of study of Architecture and design of the University of Navarra. These courses include the participation of guest professors. As a complement to the theoretical sessions, practical work is carried out in the laboratory of Building of the School of Architecture, and visits to forests and industries in Navarra. In this way, students acquire a global vision of wood. The different activities are open to professionals of the sector and interested people.

Seminars are also held, in which topics related to management forestry and timber construction are explored in depth, as well as workshops at design, usually in the format of summer courses.

The Chair also collaborates with the association Forum Holzbau in the organisation of the International Forum on Building with Wood, which takes place in Pamplona.
