The process of an archaeological excavation: Los Bañales
In permanent dialogue with the societies of the past through material culture, archaeology is today a consolidated scientific discipline which, with its own method and very specific techniques - one of them, excavation - tries to give a voice to individuals who are very distant in time but close, without doubt, in their way of thinking and acting, and all of this through very special material sources.
University Archaeology Club
We present the Archaeology Club, an initiative of the department of History, Art History and Geography of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra, a space of training participative, welcoming, open and inter-faculty, for students who share a passion: Antiquity and the recovery of its material culture through Archaeology.
The Archaeology Club visit the Museum of Navarre
The Archaeology Club of the School of Philosophy and Letters visit the Museum of Navarre to go deeper and have a more direct contact with archaeological sources.
Los Bañales Archaeology Programme
Students from the University of Navarra explain what they have learned in the excavation of Los Bañales. A unique experience that allows them to see what life was like in a Roman city on the ground.
