COLLABORATION
Creativity, research critical thinking define the work students in Degree design the School of Architecture. We Design is a sample brings together a selection of projects that explore new ways of living, communicating, and materializing ideas, reflecting our students' commitment to innovation, sustainability, and conceptual excellence.
On February 26, Roberto Verino's store on Serrano Street (Madrid) will host the exhibition, creating a dialogue between emerging talent and an environment linked to design fashion.
Chess
The lines of the pieces in this industrial-style chess set, handcrafted from Corten steel, are inspired by the sculptural works of Eduardo Chillida and Jorge Oteiza. The designer wanted to move away from design and used this material to give the set as a whole a strong sculptural character.
Argia: the brilliance of what once was
Argia, which means "light" in Basque, is a project seeks to shed light on the hidden value of cardboard in design. The project in the Old Town of Pamplona, where local businesses generate waste every day that normally goes unnoticed: cardboard. Thanks to design material experimentation, Argia transforms this cardboard into two families of lamps created without additives, revealing its aesthetic and structural potential.
Terraviva
Terraviva, a kit designed to convert food waste into fertile, plantable pots. It includes a flexible silicone mold (designed for complete reuse) and six stackable instructions . These, in turn, act as a support for the mold and are a nod to traditional gardening materials. Each base is designed for continuous reuse, promoting a internship and sustainable internship .
Folitun
Folitun means "to pull out the roots" in Mapudungun, evoking the deep connection between art, nature, and culture itself. This project to raise awareness of the potential behind the horsehair weaving techniques used in Rari craftsmanship. It also aims to make horsehair a globally recognized material in the textile industry. Finally, it seeks to create modular pieces for the production of Folitun: a collection of accessories.
Loreak
Nature reflected as closely as possible, combining beauty and geometry. An organic and dynamic set, where all the stacked pieces form and reveal the golden ratio, extending to become a flower.
Coaster set
Coasters: an everyday object that becomes a game where you can learn about the roots of Spanish material culture. A flat construction system with which you can create sixty-four combinations of a single traditional costume. Inspired by photos from the series Spain: Types and Costumes from the collection of photographer Ortiz-Echagüe.
Why are you following me?
The Camino de Santiago, a spiritual journey. Why are you following me? A message left along the way, a question posed to another pilgrim, which each person interprets and responds to as they wish, remains incomplete, and perhaps it will be the next traveler who continues the game. Oneknit: 3D knitting in design
Oneknit is the result an approach to the textile technique of three-dimensional knitting from a material exploration perspective. This technique brings together many characteristics that make it unique: the training Structures , finishes, seamless construction, combination of materials, and even the production of a final piece directly from the machine. The project on the creation of the upper, the part that covers the instep of a shoe. The proposal completed with a 3D-printed sole, which adds personalization and cohesion to the whole.
Chirico
The simple geometries of the seven pieces that make up this tableware set create shapes with weight and consistency. White clay was used in their production. The pieces with surfaces for food or interiors for liquids have been covered with a translucent glaze with a glossy finish, which creates a textural contrast and accentuates the difference between the interior and exterior.
Spinning roots
Hilando raíces goal illustrate, through a capsule collection of accessories, the value of craftsmanship and rural work. It also highlights the number of hours of work each piece and how it can stand the test of time, transcending changing fashions and trends. This collection seeks to reflect each piece of farm equipment in a bag, allowing its beauty to be recognized in something that, at first glance, may seem ordinary.
Aroma flow
Aroma Flow seeks to reinterpret Buddhism and share it as an experience through a wax-melting lamp. The essence of this work in recreating a warm current, a sensation that provides warmth, companionship, and tranquility through intangible elements such as aroma and light. In this way, a unique multisensory experience is created that invites people to enjoy a moment of relaxation, tranquility, and introspection.
3D concrete
Different designs for different uses and lighting: different formats of the same lamp idea, whose main material is concrete. The set consists of different versions of the same product: desk lamp, wall lamp, floor lamp, or ambient lamp.
Ssitto
research on finding the essence of cutlery, based on superimposition. It starts from the results obtained from the analysis, by superimposition and the shapes resulting from their intersection. Taking this geometry as essential, a series of formal interactions are carried out, whose variations are based on factors to be taken into account such as the ergonomics of the product, its beauty, and its consistency with the concept. Spoon, knife, and fork: at the risk of seeming ordinary, their forms contain much of the history of humanity and its social and cultural evolution.
Franken sneakers
Frankensneakers reuses discarded sneakers to spark conversations about culture and sustainability. Through interactive activities, it redefines the role of the designer as an agent of change and inspires people to rethink their relationship with sneakers and the expression staff."

Lensora, personalized and fully customized glasses, created using additive manufacturing.
