We develop mechatronic systems, collaborative robotics, and haptic technologies for industrial applications. We conduct research in artificial intelligence, high-precision computer vision, augmented reality, and digital twins to develop, simulate, and optimize process inspection systems, decision-making, and operational efficiency in advanced, controlled manufacturing environments.
We are researching the integration of Artificial Intelligence to streamline the design cycle design new products, combining it with the incorporation of functional materials through Advanced Additive Manufacturing. We aim to develop innovative solutions that can be applied to the industrial sector and to design models that will empower the next generation of engineers.
We develop advanced manufacturing solutions for high performing metal components high performing in sectors such as industrial, biomedical, and aerospace. Our work includes the experimental and computational characterization of the mechanical and biomechanical behavior of materials, Structures components, including prosthetics and bone substitutes. We also conduct research on the application of 3D printing technologies to precast concrete products for the construction industry.
We conduct research on the modeling and analysis of systems, processes, and products involving fluid flows, with or without thermal phenomena. To this end, we use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling techniques and experimental methods to develop new designs, improve and optimize existing ones, and create simulation, design analysis tools tailored to Username.
We specialize in essay modeling of various machine and vehicle components (primarily railway-related), as well as railway infrastructure, with the aim of predicting their dynamic and fatigue behavior, including aspects of aging, wear, and failure. Our goal is to improve the design these components by proposing advanced predictive models and new solutions. We are currently also working on Physics-Informed Machine Learning, developing models of mechanical systems that combine knowledge physical system with data , with applications to Digital Twins.
