RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THESIS FOR PUBLICATIONS

A thesis presented by publications is a project of research of thesis Doctoral that presents at least three articles published in journals of the specialization program and where the Issue of thesis includes at least the following sections:

Introduction ( work and state of the art) (framework )

General objectives
-
Structure (how items are inserted in the proposed objectives)
-
Copying of articles (make sure to comply with editorial permissions)

Global discussion of work included in the articles.

Conclusions
-
bibliography
-
Annexes (if deemed appropriate)
The requirements to obtain the doctorate through this modality are:

Publications must be directly related to the research project research by the PhD student the journal must be indexed in ISI Web of Knowledge and JCR.

At least two of the publications must be in the first quartile of their specialization program in terms of impact index specialization program year of publication of article or in the previous year if the impact index for the year of publication of article has not yet been calculated).

The PhD student must be the first or second author of at least three of the articles submitted.

When submitting the thesis assessment final defense, you must provide the articles that have already been published, or at least definitively accepted, including the journal's quality indices.

Articles may not be submitted for another thesis .

The public defense of the thesis held before a panel, following the rules and regulations of doctorate.
