Presentation
The doctoral program in Applied Engineering is part of the School of doctorate that the University of Navarra has implemented, in the framework established by RD99/2011, as a planning, coordination and monitoring body for the doctorate programs. The manager of its development and organization is the School of Engineering.
The School of Engineering of the University of Navarra (Tecnun), began its activity in 1961, ten years after the founding of the University in 1952. The first PhD in Engineering thesis was defended in September 1972. Throughout these years it has maintained a continuous update of its scientific and technological background through projects of applied research and putting special effort in the training of the students of doctorate.
