Companies are demanding these new profiles that translate into professional opportunities for our graduates. According to the report Future of Jobs Report (2023) of the WorldEconomic Forum, sustainability specialists will be the second most in demand until 2027; and for the report Global Green Skills Report 2022, published by LinkedIn, the hiring of "green talent" increased from 9.6% in 2015, to 13.3% in 2021 (representing a growth rate of 38.5%). As if this were not enough, DIRSE, the association Spanish Sustainability Managers, (ASG), provides another important fact: while in 2013 there were barely 3 weekly offers of work in this field, in 2023, the average of positions in demand per week exceeds 70.
The partnership with the companies is core topic for the success of the program and the achievement of the learning objectives. Guest lecturers in the different modules are stakeholders core topic from the point of view of employment, program recognition and even research.
Students will gain the basic scientific knowledge on all dimensions of sustainability (Environmental, Social and Governance) and acquire the necessary skills to use them in the management of sustainability responsibilities of companies and institutions.
