Objectives and competences
Objectives:
-
To provide graduates with a deep knowledge of those theoretical-practical aspects directly related to the scientific and technical fields that are the object of research in each line so that they constitute a solid point of support for the initiation to research.

Develop the necessary skills to simulate, computationally (programming or specific software) or on the laboratory, analyze and criticize those specific problems that are the object of the research of the PhD student.

To provide students with a set of tools and skills that allow them to interpret, criticize and elaborate scientific documentation, respecting the principles of equality and professional ethics.

To develop the necessary skills to enable student to integrate into interdisciplinary and international research teams.

To train, in a rigorous way, in those advanced aspects related to the field of research where the student will develop its doctoral thesis .

To develop the skills that will enable the student systematic understanding of a field of study, as well as its communication in oral and written form to the academic community.
