The qualitative research allows to approach reality from the individual perspective of each person and provides a closer view of the human being.
Qualitative methodology has revalued the human being as the central axis of analysis. The contexts in which a person lives and the meaning of his or her personal experiences influence how he or she lives and behaves, and therefore have specific repercussions on how he or she lives his or her experiences and problems. The qualitative research is used in the field of health, in marketing, in communication, in sociology... This subject of research is booming because it is essential to understand the motivations of a person, their goals in life, their values, feelings, beliefs, the reasons behind their behavior. This contribution is essential and applicable to any context with a genuine interest in knowing the topic of study from the perspective of the person and his context.
Traditionally the training at research has been based on positivist tendencies and, therefore, the knowledge on qualitative research is usually quite limited. In an effort to overcome this limitation, a course on qualitative research has been organized.
