Do you want to do volunteer activities international?

Here begins your adventure! Acquire the necessary tools to participate efficiently and responsibly in international cooperation projects. In the course you will receive a training, by experts, that will prepare you to solve different challenges and situations in your trip.

This course is mandatory for all people who want to participate in international cooperation projects. You can also validate qualification 3 ECTS credit if you meet the following requirements: 

→ Participate in a project of volunteer activities international for a minimum of 4 weeks (1 month). 

→ certificate from attendance to the Course at volunteer activities International.

→ Submit to report from volunteer activities.

  PROGRAM  

March 4 : "ASFES Architecture without borders: 30 years building rights".
speaker: José Javier Esparza Unsain, ASFES Navarra
The NGDO Arquitectura Sin Fronteras, present in different countries, works for the improvement of living conditions and coverage of fundamental rights together with its local partners. 

March 5 : "Learning and Service: Learning by doing a service".
speakerErika Martínez, from association Navarra Nuevo Futuro. Technician in International Cooperation and Education Transforming for Global Citizenship.

March 6 : "Breaking down walls, building bridges: volunteer activities and intercultural sensitivity".
speakerCoílín Óhaodha. Director of institute of modern languages of the University of Navarra.
A review of the principles of cross-cultural sensitivity through lived situations and case studies, to improve and enhance the experience of volunteer activities for all. 

March 7 | "How to make the most of your volunteer activities. Challenges and opportunities".
speakerFrancisco Fuentes, manager of the department of International Cooperation and Humanitarian Action of ONG Rescate.
With 20 years of experience in Latin America, Africa and Asia, in international cooperation and humanitarian action, of which the last 8 are in countries in conflict and/or post-conflict as coordinator of ONG Rescate, he will share the best tips to live a great experience.

March 8 : "Communicating your experience of volunteer activities: good practices and issues to avoid".
