A study space and research interdisciplinary that integrates contemporary history, business leadership, entrepreneurship, communication and international relations, generating knowledge and training with a broad and current perspective.
Gustavo Cisneros (Caracas, 1945-New York, 2023) was a prominent Venezuelan businessman, president of the board directive of the group CISNEROS business –a business private company with almost a century of global experience. Since 1970, it has promoted its development Strategic, creating and implementing innovative strategies in fields as diverse as media, entertainment platforms, consumer goods, supermarkets and department stores, and satellite connectivity. Recognized for his commitment to Education and democracy in Latin America, combined its management entrepreneur with extensive participation in corporate boards, international organizations and extensive philanthropic work through the Cisneros Foundation, which he established with his wife, Patricia Phelps de Cisneros.

The Chair Gustavo Cisneros has as mission statement To analyze and disseminate Gustavo Cisneros's career and bequest , and to explore his impact on business, politics, and society. It also seeks to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among new generations, promoting values of leadership , strategic vision , and commitment to economic development .

In partnership with the RedWINN ( network Ibero-American Innovation Council) of the ICS, conferences and initiatives will be organized research , knowledge dissemination and training , with the purpose to make female role models visible in different areas of society.
