The Energy Transition Chair , the result of a partnership between the Repsol Foundation and theUniversity of Navarra, aims goal to promote research, training , andknowledge dissemination in the context of the transition toward a more sustainable, low-carbon energy model . In a global context where decarbonization is an urgent challenge , the Chair focuses its activities on the evolution of businesses toward a model of Circular Economics to achieve a more competitive and sustainablebusiness .

 Indicators and Tools for Sustainable and Circular Decision-Making

research Focused on the development of frameworks assessment, methodologies, and quantitative models that enable companies to measure, integrate, and balance criteria of circularity and sustainability with the operational excellence of their production and strategic processes.  

TRANSPORTE Y DISTRIBUCIÓN

 Circular, efficient, and low-impact supply chains 

Study and analysis of industrial logistics to reduce the environmental impact of procurement and transportation processes. This research area analyzes the impact of goods distribution, seeking to adapt logistics strategies to new regulatory requirements for emissions reduction and reporting throughout the value chain.

DIVULGACIÓN Y TRANSFERENCIA DEL CONOCIMIENTO

 Industrial Symbiosis and Resource Recovery

research on mechanisms, technologies, and platforms for “ partnership ” among organizations to promote the “ exchange ” and utilization of byproducts, waste, and secondary raw materials, thereby facilitating the transition from linear models to efficient and interconnected industrial ecosystems.
