International Observatory for University Reputation and Governance
A reputation intelligence platform designed to help universities understand stakeholder perceptions, compare themselves with peer institutions and make better governance decisions.
Measuring perceptions to govern better
The Observatory helps universities understand how they are perceived by their stakeholders and transform this evidence into stronger governance decisions.
A tool for senior university leadership
It is not a ranking or a one-off survey. It is a reputation intelligence platform that combines measurement, benchmarking and recommendations for leadership teams.
Methodological rigour, executive value
The model integrates rational and emotional dimensions of reputation and captures the views of students, alumni, academic staff and employers to provide a multi-stakeholder and actionable reading.
THE PROJECT
A new standard for understanding university reputation
The Observatory was created to complement conventional metrics with a more complete reading of reputation: one that brings together teaching and research quality, employability, trust, satisfaction, belonging and relationships with the institution’s key audiences.
Reputation index based on three constructs: rational, emotional and qualitative.
Structured listening among students, alumni, academic staff and employers.
Benchmarking with peer universities.
Executive report with conclusions and recommendations.
Longitudinal monitoring to measure institutional evolution.
A specific approach to university governance and reputation.
HOW IT WORKS
A simple process for the university, a strategic outcome for its leadership
The university activates the questionnaires
It sends the four questionnaires to students, alumni, academic staff and employers.
The Observatory processes the information
It integrates the data and calculates the reputation index based on its own scientific methodology.
Benchmarking is generated
The results are interpreted against peer universities and comparable trends.
The leadership team receives an executive report
Findings, conclusions and recommendations to guide institutional decision-making.
SUBSTANTIATED AND VERIFIABLE
A project born from university research
The Observatory is the result of a research project carried out in collaboration with the Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DATAI) at the University of Navarra.
WHAT KIND OF RESULTS DO THEY RECEIVE?
A clear demonstration of the value delivered by the Observatory
The final deliverable, between 70 and 80 pages, combines analytical depth with executive usefulness, enabling the university to move from information to action.
Benchmarking among peer universities
Participating institutions receive a comparative reading that allows them to understand their relative position and identify reputational strengths and gaps with greater precision.
Results by stakeholder and by dimension
The report provides a differentiated view of how students, alumni, academic staff and employers perceive the university, both rationally and emotionally.
Actionable conclusions for leadership
The results are not presented as a simple data report, but as a working basis with interpretative insights and recommendations aimed at decision-making.
This is how information is presented to senior university leadership
This preview shows the executive style of the report: clear, comparative and geared towards decision-making.
